Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has it own unique diagnostic methods. Assessment starts with asking TCM questions, observing the patient’s tongue, palpitating the pulse, etc. A precise TCM diagnosis is the key for a successful treatment plan.
Acupoints
Acupoints are body points, either on the skin surface or underneath, which the acupuncturist uses to treat health issues. Acupoints correspond to a respective organ such as eyes, nose, liver, heart, kidney, lung, etc. Some acupoints work for balancing the Yin-Yang energy. When the acupuncture needle touches these acupoints, it initiates the healing process.
