In 2015, Sophia had a severe accident in which she fell down a flight of stairs and was immobilized. She was diagnosed with “Central Cord Syndrome”. Her cervical spinal cord 4-5 was damaged. She had limited mobility and required assistance in completing simple daily tasks. While she was in the rehabilitation centre, she insisted on using her own acupuncture procedures and within three and half months, she regained full mobility. Both doctors and nurses were amazed by the effectiveness of acupuncture to lead to such a quick recovery.
